Subject: Methodists From: Edna H Kirkley Date: June 13, 1999 Rev Asbury traveled in Chesterfield and Kershaw counties. Aaron Knight and brothers started Methodist churches here in Chesterfield Co in late 1700's. One of our oldest Methodist churches is Fork Creek in Jefferson, Zion in Pageland and Antioch (no longer in existence) near Mt Croghan.
