I did NOT send any attachment to this list!!! As nearest that I can tell
From looking at the post, it is some sort of administrative protocol where
at some point in the transmission process a part of any message exceeding X
number of parts is automatically treated in this manner by some
system/systems in the transmission chain. Still with me? Now I don't know
at which point in the chain that this happens, but I have seen this same
thing just a few times when reading e-mail. Of course I usually delete a
lot of lines before I would notice. This action might take place routinely
at the senders site or at any point in between the sender and receiver.
Maybe by AOL as a receiver as both gripes I have had on this were from AOL
subscribers and AOL does do things different than the rest of the world.
However, I think my copy from the list had the attachment also, so it
wouldn't be AOL - this time. I really don't know! Perhaps some individual
wise to all facits of the internet could enlighten us before some one starts
shooting.
