Did you know that McEacherns/McEachrans = McKechnie and variations? It'll 
help to branch out your research. Sounds like you've had good success thus 
far, though! 
I descend from McKECHNIEs from Scotland to Canada to N. Michigan. It is a 
tough surname -- about 20 variations. It is part of Clan McDonald (Ranald)
