There are about 12 Masonic Lodges within the city of Charleston, many
of them very old - being formed in the late 1700's and early 1800's.
These 12 lodges originally met in a downtown building on Meeting
Street. A new Masonic Center was built in more recent times and these
12 Lodges meet in that center, including Solomon and Washington Lodges.
The address is:

   First District Masonic Center
   1285 Orange Branch Road
   Charleston, SC 29407-3336
   Phone: 843-571-7587

Any of the city lodges can be addressed c/o the above address.
Records of all South Carolina Masonic Lodges are also kept by the Grand
Lodge of South Carolina in Columbia, SC.
