Subject: Mary Franklin c.1800,birth,marriage,death in Edgefield Co., SC????? From: Robert Temples Date: February 22, 2000 We are trying to verify information given to us on a Mary Franklin born c.1800 who married a James Temples in Edgefield Co., SC around 1819. They had a child James the third in 1820. Then we believe that she died after giving birth to Seaborn Temples in April 4, 1821. To date, we have found several Franklin families living south of Johnston Township from 1780-1820. We suspect that Benjamin Franklin is her father. Any clues to this woman's life would be appreciated. Our source on her so far is information documented in "The Ridge Citizen" published as "Families of Johnston, SC".
