I have not ever been able to make a Bryan/Boone connection. My Catherine C. Hutton was the daughter of Agnes (Nancy) Calhoun who married General Joseph Hutton in 1796. Agnes was the daughter of Wm Calhoun and Agnes Long. Joseph Hutton was son of William Hutton and Agnes Long. Catherine C. Hutton was a cousin to John C. Calhoun. She married William T. Bryan. William T. Bryan was born 1799 in S.C. They had moved to Greene County, Ala. by 1823-1824. They had 3 sons: l.Elisha 2. Joseph H. 3.Wiliam T. William T. (the father) had died by 1827 and Catherine C. remarried by 1830 to Robert Craig. I am descended from Joseph H. and his wife Adeline Alford. Their children were LouEllen, Joseph H., John C., Augustus, Wm. T. and Dordelia L. Several of these children died young with only LouEllen(my g-grandmother, Joseph H., jr, and JohnC. living to adulthood. I only wish I knew half as much about WilliamT.'s family as I do Catherine C. Hutton's family. William T. is the earliest Bryan I know of-born 1799 in S.C.
