Thanks to Terry for helping me realize I placed a North Carolina request on 
the South Carolina rootsweb list.  I thought I would place the request on the 
NC list first and if nothing could be found I would request anyone with 
access to marriage records in South Carolina(maybe through family treemaker 
cd's) to check on marriage info on John Stephenson and Mary Ann Jones who 
married ca. l827 or earlier. I don't know what county they might have married 
in South Carolina, but if anyone has family treemaker cd's and wouldn't mind 
looking them up, I'd be very grateful.
