Barbara,
I have two different Berkeley County Cemetery books and this is what I have
found:

THORNLEY CEMETERY
The Thornley family burial ground was located on Broughton Hall Plantation,
St. John's Parish, Berkeley County, SC;six miles southeast of Bonneau, SC
and three miles northwest of Pinopolis, on Broughton Hall Road. At the time
of the inventory, the one acre cemetery was located on land formerly owned
by the Atlantic Coast Line Corporation.........there were 13 marked graves
and approximately 88 unmarked graves.....(this took place during the
relocation project of Sante Cooper). ..... 75 names were identified and 15
remain unidentified.......

        Alice E. Madray
        George W. Madray, Jr.
Two graves of the Madray Family
Barbara there is more general information about this cemetery and if you
will send me your snail mail address I'll copy it all. Too much for this list.

WASSAMASAW BAPTIST CHURCH located off Hwy 176 at Carnes Cross Roads and
Cooper's Store RD.

        LILLIE V. MADRAY D/O J.H.E. & D.E. MADRAY
        4 MARCH 1892-19 JULY 1896

There may be others located here but many graves were marked with wooden
markers and the these were very badly destroyed during hurrican Hugo ten
years ago this coming Sept. I will also copy this cemetery information for
you. There is a possibility that there are written records for this church
as it is still fully functional. I don't know the pastor's name for sure
but I believe it is Fritz Young. I do have the telephone
number..843-688-4281. Let me know if I can be of further help.

Anne
