I'm researching Lowndes ancestors, around Charleston and Columbia, SC,
and later in Chattanooga (Hamilton County), and Maryville (Blount County),
Tennessee.

I have Caesar Lowndes, who married Elizabeth Brownfield, but I don't yet
know where. Maybe Charleston?

Rawlins Lowndes was an early Governor (and President) of South Carolina.
He was born in the Caribbean.

I have someone in a will who named his son William Lowndes Nesbitt.
