I have been searching for a ship's captain From England sirnamed Weston, who had 2 sons born on Sullivan's Island in 1800 and 1808 respectively named William White Burroughs Weston and Daniel Michael Weston. He also had two daughters Abigail and Rebecca Weston who married two other captains: a Grant and a Lowry respectively . After the Weston family moved inland to Charleston and Union Co, and then on to Barbour Co, AL, the Lowry and Grant family carried on regular correspondence with each other up into the 1920's.
