From the l600's - l700's, would you check to see if you can find the 
following:

James Jordan
dates when he lived:  ca. l797 - ca. 870
tribe may be Creek (May not be)
He was born in SC, but by l840 he had moved his family to Alabama

Joshua Jordan
dates when he lived:  ca. l773 - ca. l860
tribe:  may be Creek(may not be)
He was born in SC but he moved to Alabama
