Hi Ruth, I hope you're feeling fine!

Can you let me know if you have any Lowndes, Brownfield, Starling,
Brabham, Duncan and/or Kearse in that census? Especially slaveholders.

Later than 1790 - in the mid to late 1800s, I have Caesar Duncan
Lowndes from the Charleston area and the islands; he married Elizabeth
Brownfield Lowndes. I'd like to find more on her family. Also George
Richard Brabham around what is now Bamberg. These ancestors of
mine are African American and mixed race.

I don't know much about SC county geography in 1790.

Thank you Ruth, your bud, Marian - Rootsweb Sponsor

    covering the below counties:

    Beaufort District
    Camden District
    Charleston District
    Cheraw District

I would like to join Cyndi in offering volunteer lookups for any
researcher
on the list requesting. Please leave your surnames, given names and your

Note: There are many surnames that are slave holders, however no names
