Subject: Lookups From: Rwhughes Pi65 Date: March 17, 1998 Knowing that many of the folks in SC made their way down from VA, some quite slowly, we all know that searching the records in NC can prove quite beneficial in a lot of cases. I have ready access to a great little book called: "State Census of North Carolina 1784-1787", second edition revised by Mrs. Alvaretta Kenan Register from the Genealogical Publishing Co., Inc., dated 1983. It is fully indexed and covers the entire state. I will try to do lookups for those who have specific names and think/know that they were there during that period.
