Hi,  Just joined the list, I am looking for my gg-grandfather's parents. 
His name was John Luke b. abt. 1798 suppose to have brother, Daniel M.
Luke.  I think that the father was either John or Daniel and they came from
the Pee Dee Section of SC.  I don't even know where that it.  I hope
someone can help me.  John Luke married 1st Patience Hobgood don't know
where she was from.  He shows up on the 1830 Colquitt Co, GA census but can
not find anything earlier than that. Thanking you in advance for your help.
