Subject: Lawrence District (?) From: MarteyMa Date: April 15, 1998 We were visiting an old tombstone in Arkansas of a possible relative. Her name was there along with born in Lawrence District, South Carolina. We had thought it meant Laurens District or Laurens County but decided to at least ask if anyone has heard of a Lawrence District in South Carolina. I realize that a number of counties might have this, but if anyone could help us out on this we would appreciate it.
