In reply to the message regarding Veteran's Hospitals or Homes from Chris on 
May 1st. 

My Grandfather who resided in Anderson Co./Oconee Co. South Carolina was sent 
to Perryville in Maryland.  He stayed in that Veteran's Hospital for several 
years after WW1 suffering from Meningitis and "Shell Shock".  I was surprised 
that he was sent so far away.  He road the train from the Harve de 
Grace/Perryville area of Maryland to visit my Mother and Grandmother.  Gail
