Good evening all!  I am learning new things everyday about our history
but I am stumped on one thing.  Does anyone know if somone was granted
land after they served in the RW, that the land was theirs?  The reason I
am asking is that my John Capps (Caps) that I am researching seems to
have left no paper trail on who he either willed his 200 acres too or
sold it too.  He died around 1840 (give or take).  Thanks for your help
in understanding.
