I have a connection to a Daniel ROGERS from SC as well. I wonder if they are 
connected? My ancestor Sutley ROGERS was from Edgefield, SC. He was born abt. 
1791. He married Frances ROWE Jan 3, 1815 in Edgefield Co.SC. He acquired 
land in Georgia, Meriwether Co. in the Cherokee Land Lottery in 1837, his was 
granted prior to Jan 1, 1938. He lived in Meriwether County, GA in 1850 and 
his will was proved in 1867 in Coweta County, GA.(A neighboring county to 
Meriwether.) He names his son Daniel ROGERS as one of his heirs in his will. 
This daniel was not in Meriwther Co. and I feel that he was older and stayed 
in Edgefield when his family moved to GA.His daughter, Joyce/Joicie ROGERS 
married Mathias ARGROVES who was killed in the Civil War. If anyone thinks 
they may have a connection to this ROGERS family, please let me know.
