I just read the messages about SOLOMON MCCLAM and I thought I would see if
anyone has anything on my LACY/LACEY family in Williamsburg County.

(1) WILLIAM LACY (my 3rd greatgrandfather)
     (2) Elizabeth Lacey, b. 1797,  m. James H. Gordon
     (2) JAMES LACEY, b. 6-3-1800, SC (my 2nd greatgrandfather),
           m. Ruth Hicks
     (2) Jonathan Lacey, b. 1803, SC, m. Susieannah ????
     (2) WILLIAM LACEY, b. 1804, SC, m. SUSANNAH MCCLAM

This SUSANNAH MCCLAM LACEY was the daughter of SOLOMON MCCLAM, JR.

Does anyone have any information on any of these families from Williamsburg
County, SC?

Also... I found the following entry in "History of Williamsburg County, SC":

 "SOLOMON MCCLAM, SR. dated his will July 2, 1819. He mentions his sons,
Daniel, Solomon, and Bryant; and daughters, Ann Jane Smith, and Eliza
Singletary. Witnesses, Phillip McRae, James J. Douglass, and JAMES LACEY."

 Would anyone have information on this JAMES LACEY and/or his connection to
the MCCLAM family?

 Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
