I truly apologize for the semi-legal questions, but I'm trying to gain an
understanding of southern culture.

Here's my question: If a man is known to have slaves, but doesn't mention them
in his will, what happens to them?? If he makes the statement in his will that
he "leaves the remainder of his personal and real property and the remainder
of his plantation to someone", does this cover his slaves???

I'm counting on you all for the answers.
