Subject: KINSEYS 1700'S> SC From: Diane Smith Date: March 13, 1998 I have hit a brick wall on my KINSEY line. My John KINSEY was born June 18, 1807 Pendleton Dist., SC according to his Civil War Papers. I have found a Peter KINSEY in the 1790 and 1810 Pendleton Dist. Census and a William Kinsey in the 1800-1820 Pendleton Dist. SC Census, but can't find any further info on them in SC Records. Both Peter and William moved on to Habersham Co., GA by 1830 where my John was married in 1842 to Susannah RAY b. 1819 York Dist. SC? (Another brick wall) There was also a Thomas Kinsey in the 1790 and 1800 York Dist. SC Census but who is he? Any leads or info on the KINSEY line would be greatly appreciated.
