As an aside, did you know there is a very small town named Gourdin
(Guh-dine) just in Williamsburg Co. or possibly even just inside Georgetown
Co.?  It's pretty deserted now, but was named for the Gourdin family.  If
you can find Kingstree on a map, look south for Lane, and then about five
miles south is Gourdin.  Thought you might be interested in this; to my
knowledge there are no GOURDINS around, but you may want to check.
