I am trying to find information on the Bond family.  The earliest information
I have is William Bond b:1778 South Carolina, M:Sarah Truett Barwick b:1792
They had at least 3 children:
Harriet Bond b:1832 Kentucky, married Thomas Tyra
Oliver Bond b:1833 Kentucky, married Lucinda Gum
Fletcher Bond b:1833/1834 Kentucky, married Lear Jean Wilson

Fletcher and Lear (Leah?) had at least 9 children in Owsley Co, Kentucky:
Oliver P. Bond b:1851, married Louannie Browning
Louisa Bond b:1859, married Abraham Rowland
Margaret Bond b:1864, married Walter Hughes
Mary Bond b:1867, married George Bowman
Sopia Bond b: Oct 1869, married Joseph Tyra
Nathan Bond b:1872, married Ibby Bullock
Robert Bond b:1875, married Martha Tyra
William Bond b:1856
John Wilson Bond b:1862, married Mary Ann Holcomb

John and Mary Ann had at leat 8 children:
