I hope I am not sending you astray.. I think this family lived near
Orangeburg in what is St. Mathews in the county of Calhoun.. I am also
descended from Kelleys but these are not mine.. Try The Us Gen Web and go to
SC and go Orangeburg ... Also go to Calhoun.. I have thought it possible
that Samuel came up to Newberry, SC.. If so, he was a Quaker but there may
have been to separate Samuels.. I wish you luck.. Don't get mixed up by
Gresham/Gorsham....William ...James.. They seem to be a separate Kelley
family from VA..Anne
