My great grandfather was James Monroe Keels, b: 22 Jan 1861 in Al. The Trinity Co. 1900 Census has his father was from SC, maybe John Jr.or Isaac, Jr. John was married to an Elizabeth and died in the Civil War. There my by pension papers some where. James M.
