Hi Carolina researchers:

I am searching for information the families of my grandfather John Ladd
KEEFE (8/2/1882-5/12/1942) and my grandmother Frances Cornelia McKINNON
(3/12/1886-11/6/1951).  They were living in or near Bennettsville,
Marlboro County, SC in the late 1800's to early 1900's.  They moved to
Columbia, Richland County, SC several years prior to 1935, which was the
year my parents married.

My grandparents had six four sons and two daughters:  Zorabelle
(Scrap),  George,  Leo (Pete),  Esther,  Otis Ree (Tang) [my father],
and John Ladd, Jr. (Dude).

My grandfather had several siblings, one of whom was Lewis Mitchell
KEEFE.  Uncle Mitchell married Ethel MOULEDOUS; they were grocers in
Columbia before buying a farm near St. Matthews, SC.

My grandmother and her half-sister Judy KELLY were daughters of Margaret
McKINNON and granddaughters of George W. McKINNON and Margaret STEWART
of Richmond County, NC.
