Looking for information on the following:
1. John JOINER served during the American Revolution from 02 May 1781
to 13 Jun 1781 under Lt. David McCord at Ancrum and from 09 Aug 1781
to 08 Sep 1781 as horseman at McCord's Ferry under Capt. William
Goodwyn. Both tours of duty in the SC militia.

2. Joseph JOINER who received a 300 acre land grant on 07 Aug 1749 at
the junction of the Wateree and Congaree Rivers in SC. There was
possibly a Joiner/Joyner's Ferry there by 1752.

Need help finding out if Joseph (#2) was the father of John (#1).
"A" Joseph JOINER/JOYNER and wife Miles JACKSON, had a son, John, born
in 1750, Amelia, SC.
Not sure where "Amelia" SC is, does anyone know?
