Subject: Joshua and James Jordan of SC From: Bjo3791845 Date: August 14, 2000 I am researching Joshua Jordan/Jourdan b. 1777 SC and James Jordan/Jourdan/Jordon b. ca. 1797 SC, found on the 1800 - 1830 census records for Darlington County, SC before they migrated to Pike County, Alabama by l840. I believe Joshua, who was 20 years older, was possibly the father of James Jordan,who married Catherine ?,and that Joshua had a second family after marrying Mary ? and moving to Alabama. Any info. anyone can share on Joshua and/or James Jordan/Jourdan/Jordon would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
