Good morning Bill Hughes et al,

I have been recovering from surgery and have missed all the chatter from my
fellow genealogist.  I think I am on the mend now, (going by the fact that I
brought my coffee straight into my computer room this morning for the first
time in about a week) and noticed from the messages that the list had been
quiet.  That is always a "downer", but makes everyone jump in with a 'hello'
From time to time.

Chatting with fellow genealogist opens up so much fun in my life.  I am just
naturally sociable, so enjoy the camaraderie.  I discovered that one of Bill
Hughes 'collateral' ancestors (Eli Kershaw) was a friend of one of my family
members (John Donaldson) years ago.  Sort of brings us all closer.

My concentration has been in Marlboro, Chesterfield, Marion, Barnwell and
early Charleston.  My husband's line, which I work, has two governors in it.
One was one of the early Landgraves , Thomas Smith.  I have a copy of
Miller's OUR FAMILY CIRCLE, which gives a good bit of information on this
line if anyone has any interest.

Well, I'm out here, so that adds one more to the search party.  It has been
exceptionally quiet lately.  Just to try to stir up a bit of interest here,
all of my maternal lines are from SC........mainly the Kershaw and Lancaster
County areas, with some in Chester, Chesterfield and Darlington Counties.
