A Son R. B. Johnson......died in March ?...buried at Harmony Baptist Cemetery, Edgemoor, Chester
County, SC

Additional information is this:

"Immanuel was an Episcopal church. It stood near the present (1930's) home of H. L. Walker. The
church lot consisted of ten acres. The Walkers bought this land. All that remains to tell the
story is the little cemetery with a few markers.
Benjamin Johnson and his family came from Charleston to Chester County to live.
He was the grandfather of the late R. B. Johnson. The Johnsons were active members of Immanuel
Church
and were buried in this little cemetery.

These are the only known families buried in this cemetery.
If you know of anyone researching these surnames from Chester County, please forward this
information to them.

Thanks,

Virginia Westbrook Turner
