May also have been known as John R., Randal, Randolf ..?? He is listed in 1790 census Laurens Co, as John Cook living a few houses down from Stephen Potter family.... Shown in 1800 census as Randolph Cook.... and in 1810 census as Randol Cook.... He married Mary (Polly) Potter ..18 Jul 1792/93 in Laurens Co. Fathered several chidlren in SC...only known child is Rutha Cook b.1804 Laurens Co...Others may be named Jemima, George, John Randolph may also have ties to the Hendersons and Garrett families of Laurens Co., SC. There is a possibility that he also was married to a Henderson woman abt 1802... ??? He is shown in the 1820 census of Maury Co, TN.... He would have migrated to Maury Co abt 1808 ... Children born in TN are Elizabeth b.1809, Abraham b.1810, James H.M. b.1812 and Randolph Jr. b. abt 1815 .... Others may be Margaret, Susannah, Randolph finally migrated to Franklin Co, ILL abt 1830 where he remained until his death in 1839. Any Information would be most appreciated...
