Subject: John Heatherington From: S Martin Date: April 04, 1998 I am looking for information on John Heatherington born 13 March 1818 in South Carolina and died 31 Sept 1884 in Jackson County, Alabama. It is believed that John's father was also a John Heatherington. John bought land in Jackson County, AL from Elias Johnson in 1857. This transaction took place in Spartanburg, South Carolina. John married 1st Elizabeth Webb 13 March 1866 in Jackson County, Alabama and 2nd Tobitha Williamson 1 June 1871 in Jackson County, Alabama. I believe that Tobitha was a sister to my g-g-grandfather Joseph Ardis. All that I have on John Heatherington was given to my by Bob DeWitt. Any information on any of these individuals would be greatly appreciated.
