I am searching the marriage of John D. McREYNOLDS and his wife Hattie ?.
On the 1870 census John D. McREYNOLDS is enumerated in Wilson Township
of Perry County, Arkansas. Ten years later John D. McREYNOLDS is
enumerated in Wilson Township, Yell County, Arkansas.  His wife Fannie
and daughter Hattie, both born in South Carolina, are not enumerated in
the 1880 census leading me to believe that his wife and daughter were
deceased by this time. John served in the 1st Arkansas Mounted Rifles
and was in the conflict of the Carolinas and surrendered with Joseph E.
Johnston in that theater April 26th, 1865. The records are scant except
for church records that may have recorded this event. The county where
they may have been born is unknown at this time. I am grateful for any
assistance in finding the marriage record of this ancestor and the birth
record of Hattie McREYNOLDS. Please e-mail privately.
