I have an EXCEL file compiled by Mr. H. C. Ouzts on the Clark familes with
connections to Old Edgefield Dist/Co., SC. I checked his file, and this is
what I find that seems to be your family.
1- John Baylis Clarke [1780]
2- John Baylis Clarke, Jr. [1800](m. Martha Nevit)[1850]
3- Elias Lake Clarke
4- Robert Lake Clarke
5- Sarah Lake Clarke
5-Susan Clarke (m. Johanson)
Springfield VA [email protected]
The email address seems to be the source of the data to Mr. Ouzts.
Nothing else in the file seems to match, but I do not know much about the
Clark family. i got the file for someone else. Mr. Ouzts willingly shares,
and if you can open EXCEL, I can send for you to have in case you find some
recognizable names that he had not connected yet.
He also has a Lake file.
