Can someone help me with the JAUDON family of SC. My first knowledge is
that by 1785 the Jaudon family along with the families Robert, Maners,
Grimball, Dixon, Hamilton, and Mosse all from St. James Santee acquired
lands along the Savannah River in the Black Swamp area. 

James Jaudon was trustee of Sarah CHOVIN (1780-1823) in her 15 Nov. 1796
marriage agreement with Thomas Henry WILLINGHAM (1772-1798). James
Jaudon was of Santee and both Thomas and Sarah were of St. James Santee
Parish.

When Thomas Henry Willingham died, his widow, Sarah Chovin Willingham
married 14 Nov 1799 to Elias Jaudon (1772-1826).
