I found that the Charleston Orphanage Records (SC) confirmed that who I am looking for is Joseph Hull HUDSON, and -not- Jasper HUDSON (though the two may be related). Joseph Hull HUDSON, b.????; d. bet. Aug 1881-Jun 1882 Chas, SC. m. Mary Ann FARMER b. 29 Oct 1850 Chas, SC; d. 8 Aug 1912 Chas, SC. I have found many files that listed the incorrect info. re: HUDSON/FARMER. I am not one to rely on other's work without reference or a source. I think many records list a J HUDSON in Chas. and many people assumed...
