Coosawhatchie is located on I-95 S (once know as Ocean Hwy. / old Hwy. 17 S / Savannah Hwy.). The river that runs through this area is the Coosawhatchie River. Bees Creek is an area located on Hwy. 462, just southeast of Coosawhatchie, and is named for a creek of the same name.
