I thought I would let everyone know, since we are talking about
cemeteries, that
the Jasper County Historical Society has surveyed and indexed all known
and some
unknown cemeteries in Jasper Co, SC. They are in the process of
compiling the
information for future publication. The Society surveyed some 170 odd
cemeteries
in the county. They have not been able to do only one cemetery. This
cemetery
dates back to pre Revolutionary War. It is located on a private hunting
club. From
comments that have been made, part of the cemetery might have been
destroyed.
