She was a daughter of Matthew WEST and Mary Ann HOUGH of the Westville area in Kershaw County. Jane married Benjamin SPEARS [no info known at all on him], and they had one known child named Mary Ann SPEARS, who was born 25 Nov 1852; she married James Minor BOWERS. Any help greatly appreciated.
