Hi:
    Somehow the Dents tie into the Wagers/Wages family. In a will of William
Wages, Richland Co. SC of 7 Nov 1850, Vol 3, Sec.L., p 201-3. Beneficiaries
are William's daughter Ellis, wife of Samuel Dent, daughter Rebecca, whom I
have as the wife of John Dent, and Eleanor Wages. In the W.M. Martin
cemetery, which is now on Army property, there are appaprently 7 graves.
Rebecca Wages. William Wages, Benjamin T. Wager, Samuel T. Dent b. 13 Feb
1845 and D. 31 Aug 1848, Samuel Dent, son of Samuel & Ellis Dent B. 12 Apr
1819, d. 24 Jul 1820 age 1 yr 3 mo and 22 days, John Samuel Patterson, b. 8
Mar 1869 d. 5 Oct 1871 age 2 yr 6 mo and 28 days, and grave of Henriett
Patterson, wife of James Patterson and daughter of John and Rebecca Dent, b.
14 Feb 1840, d 5 Jun 1873, age 33yr 3 mo and 24 days.
    Also Hezekiah Dent is named in the will of Dawson Wages of Richland Co.
There are two Dawsons. The senior will is about 1821. I think that was the
one he was either a witness and or bought things at the estate sale. The
other Dawson will was probated 2 May 1850 but I really think it was the
first one you will find Hezekiah.
