I'm re-posting my earlier message concerning James LESTER with the hope
that new subscribers may be able to shed some light on this:


I have been researching my gggg grandfather, John LESTER (1751/2-1825).  He

married Catherine PLICKENSTALVER in Montgomery Co., Va. and raised his
family there.  A recent search on the Mormon website turned up information
that a James LESTER, who was born around 1730 in Bucks Co., Pa. and died
around 1808 in Newberry Co., SC, is the father of John.  This same search
also shows James was the son of Peter LESTER Jr. and Joyce (last name not
known).  Peter was also born in Pa. and is shown to have died in NC.  Any
information on the families of James and Peter would be greatly
appreciated.  A great deal of work has gone into researching John's
ancestors over the years with very little to show for it.
