Carol,
BOULWARE surname caught my attention.  I have a Jane BOULWARE in my line of
CRUMPTON's from Fairfield County which is "next door" to Edgefield County in
1710.  By 1801, Newberry County had been formed between the two.

In the small town of Ridgeway, SC, Fairfield County, there is a BOULWARE plot
in the cemetary just outside of the town.  An R.D. BOULWARE is also mentioned
in the genealogy as an administrator of the estate of a Zachariah C. CRUMPTON.
