Subject: James Bishop Murphy-Chester Co. From: Pat Mount Date: January 28, 1998 James Bishop MURPHY b. 30 Sept 1804 m. Jennet McKee McCullough b. 17 Jun 1807 Chester Co., daughter of George MCullough and Jennet Thompson who had arrived in Chester Co. on May 8th, 1807. Where did James Bishop Murphy pop up from??? Who were his parents??? Did he have any siblings???? I have James and Jennet's descendents and I have her ancestors (well, some of them) back to County Antrim and County Down. James seems to have arrived in Chester Co. by spontaneous generation. Is anyone familiar with this line? Any clues?
