Subject: JACKSON, SKERVING From: Elizabeth Russo Date: April 28, 2000 From the SC Gazette, Feb. 18, 1751: "To be Sold, on Tuesday the 12th of March, for ready money, at the plantation of MR. REGINALD JACKSON deceased, on the Horse-shoe, the said plantation containing 355 acres of land, whereon is a new dwelling house, barn, and most convenient out houses; one other tract of land adjacent, containing the same number of acres; likewise a house and lot in the village of Jacksonburgh, and Twenty-Five good slaves, among whom are a cooper, two house-wenches, sawyers, and several plantation slaves, with several good riding and other horses, a small stock of cattle, hogs, plantation tools and household goods. The property not to be altered 'till the money is p[aid to JAMES SKERVING, Executor. The creditors of said estate, are desired to send in their demands."
