Subject: Isaac GAY of SC From: RW Hughes Date: July 15, 2000 First of all, let me apologize to those of you who will see this posting two or more times. I am cross-posting to several lists. I am looking for any information concerning Isaac GAY. He was most likely born in either Kershaw or Lancaster County in South Carolina in the very early 1800s. There is the very real likelihood that he had a brother named Nathaniel and a sister named Bethany. Isaac and Nathaniel served in the same unit during the Seminole Indian Wars down in Florida during the 1830s. Anyone having information or leads concerning him and his family that they would be willing to share, please contact me. Trying to at least seriously damage a very long-standing brick wall of gargantuan proportions.
