I am new to this list. Does anyone know how I might be able to find more
information on my forefathers' military history:

William Brown Sr (ggggg-grandfather)
SC Militia in 1759
Cherokee Expedition
Capt. Pearson's Co.

William Brown Jr (gggg-uncle)
SAO

Leonard Brown (gg-grandfather)
Private
Co G 4th SC Infantry
Enlisted: Greenville April 14 1861 at 23 years old

I have found some sites that mentioned various military companies, etc.,
but none for the above. Any help would be appreciated.

Family names I am researching include: BROWN, SATTERFIELD; LANGLEY; STOKES,
all primarily from the Greenville/Greenwood/96 District.
