In some papers I have where a lady named Mabel Van Dyke Baer made an
application to the N.S.D.A.R. library is a reference to "Copy of the
Original Index Book Showing
the Revolutionary Claims Filed in South Carolina between August 20,1783
and August 31,1786 kept by James McCall, Auditor General, publ. by
Janie Revill, Columbia, S.C., 1941" and then__ Entry Book Pages 183,
256  John Carlile  Nos. Returns 5.
Does anyone have this book? Can you tell me what it says on p. 183 and
256.? Has the book been reprinted? Does anyone know where I might see
the book in a library?
