Seven years after the last transaction posted, JOHN HUTCHINSON, Sr. is
now deceased and JOHN HUTCHINSON, Jr. is now disposing of some of the
property.  More of the family is explained here, and although there is 
information of interest to several, nothing is said about the
relationship of a few other HUTCHINSONs I'd like to know about, darn
it...

Book I, p. 482		JOHN HUTCHINSON, gentleman, to JOHN BEE, both
23 & 24 Aug. 1731	of Charleston, for L500 currency, & L3400
L&R			security, the southern part of lot #2 with the 
			brick messuage or tenement thereon, fronting 51 ft. toward Cooper
River & 212 ft. deep (formerly conveyed to JOHN HUTCHINSON, the father &
ANNE, his wife);  bounding E on the Bay; W on an marsh belonging to
Landgrave THOMAS SMITH; N on another brick messuage & other part of the
town lot settled in trust for the use of ANNE HUTCHINSON, the daughter;
& to the S inclosed by a brick wall bounding on land belonging to CAPT.
GEORGE SMITH, which tenement & parcel of land were devised to HUTCHINSON
by his father & now occupied by JOHN BAKER, merchant; also all houses,
out houses, kitchens, storehouses, warehouses, still houses & other
buildings on the lot; except the devise of 1/3 of the lot granted
CHARLOTTE HUTCHINSON, widow of JOHN HUTCHINSON, durig her natural life. 
Whereas the Rt. Hon. WILLIAM, EARL OF CRAVEN, PALATINE, & the Lord
Proprs. on 7 Sept. 1681 granted THEOPHILUS PATEY lot #2 in Charleston; &
whereas EDWARD PATEY, eldest son & heir of THEOPHILUS, on 4 Dec. 1688
assigned 1/2 the lot to JOHN BOONE, gentleman, of Charleston; & whereas
JOHN BOONE  for L20 sterling on 19 Jan. 1694 sold the half-lot to JAMES
RISBEE, merchant, of the Island of Jamaica, which half lot adjoined the
land of WILLIAM NOWELL, mariner, of SC; & whereas JAMES RISBEE & JANE
his wife in 1714, for a valuable consideration, sold to GEORGE SMITH,
ESQ. of the Island of Bermuda, not only that half of lot #2 but also all
his (RISBEE'S) real & personal estate in SC, nothing excepted or
reserved; & whereas GEORGE SMITH & DOROTHY his wife on 31 July 1713
appointed Landgrave THOMAS, SMITH, GEORGE SMITH & ROBERT TRADD their
attorneys to dispose of the houses, lands, Negroes, cattle, etc.
belonging to them in SC; GEORGE SMITH of Bermuda, by deed of feofment 2
July 1717, for L80 currency of Island of Bermuda, conveyed to JOHN
HUTCHINSON, apothecary, & ANNE his then wife, of Charleston, the
southernmost part of lot #2, fronting # 51 ft. on the Bay toward Cooper
River, bounding S 212 on CAPT. GEORGE SMITH; W on LANDGRAVE THOMAS
SMITH'S marsh; No on JOSEPH BOONE, per plat attached to deed; & whereas
JOHN HUTCHINSON survived his wife ANNE & became sole owner by will dated
Oct. 1729 amongst other things devised to his loving wife CHARLOTTE
during her natural life 1/3 part of the brick meeuage or tenement in
which he then dwelt, son JOHN (party hereto) the aforesaid brick
tenement & other buildings & backyard belonging to it, except that his
wife should have her third part during her life;  now JOHN HUTCHINSON
conveys to JOHN BEE.  Witnesses:  JAMES GREEME, BENJAMIN WHITAKER.
