Subject: Hume and Oldham connection in Charleston From: lburkhart Date: September 07, 1998 I am looking for a nurse during the Revolutionary War in the seige of Charleston who married a Doctor Oldham of whom I am also looking for info on. She was Martha Hume, and said to have married Doctor Oldham just before the seige started. Doctor Oldham is said to have died during the seige. Martha went on to marry a James Floyd who had fought in the battle of Cowpens and lost two brothers there.
