I don't know if it is called the Horton Plantation but there is a plantation house built in the 
1830's which belonged to the Horton's and this is located in Kershaw SC. My husband and I were 
there a few years back and it is beautiful.  It was used during the civil war as a union 
headquarters so it was not destroyed.  Jackie Perkins-Horton
